Hello again! I'm off work this week since the garden shop is closed for Christmas and New Year's. So, the shopping list for my eleven-day siesta had a single item on it: an apartment.
Some form of bacterial "bug" kept me around the house for the first three days trying to recover. However, yesterday I was able to go apartment hunting with the much needed wisdom of my mom. Although my voice was still a bit gruff whilst asking the lease specialist about amenities, the search was successful! Today, a lease was born.
Another birth worth mentioning is that of my Pinterest account. I'm finding that it goes hand-in-hand with the lease, since I just spent more time than I care to disclose" pinning" every sort of shabby chic and vintage decor idea to my new "pinboard." Who knew there were so many adorable ways to re-use mason jars? I still have a month until move-in, so there will be plenty of time for day dreaming of mason jars and decoupage.
I'm really excited!
